Kate’s Corner: Breakthrough Goals

Andrew Carnegie once said: “If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hope.”

After writing three goals in all areas of your life, such as business, physical health, spiritual health, relationships, firstly, vow not to be overwhelmed. Creating a breakthrough goal involves choosing a goal that is an ambitious stretch for you, that produces a quantum leap in the area of life you select. This goal excites and inspires you.

Also important that you visualize the accomplishment of this goal in one year.

This goal will keep you going in the face of challenges. If this goal creates discomfort, that is a good sign. Take the next step to achieving this goal.

And if you don’t know how you will accomplish the goal, trust the HOW will show up when concentrating and focusing on your vision.

Write it down.

Read it morning and evening. Stick it up on your mirror and everywhere else and share it with your accountability group or accountability friend.

I plan to be financially free by the end of 2024.

What about you? What is your breakthrough goal?

  1. Hi Kate,
Wao what a great post, thank you for sharing. and as you said “If this goal creates discomfort, that is a good sign. Take the next step to achieving this goal.” For me reading and commenting on every post in this group is the most challenging part of the whole process of learning, dew to my barrier of language. but I just learned that this uncomfortable is exactly what I need to be good at what I’m planning to do. So, thank you so much, and I look forward to more helpful information.
I wish you all the Best in your Journey.

  2. Great post Kate 🙂

I love setting goals, really motivates me when I set my sights on something.

But then the key is to ensure you have a plan to get to them and work that plan like nothing else matters 🙂

    Let’s make it happen!

  3. Kate, I like this because it shows a positive mindset. By writing down your goals, putting on the mirror thinking positively that’s how it’s gonna happen. People that are negative and think negatively usually find life to be quiet a problem which is a victims mindset, you are clearly the opposite and let’s keep going . Thanks, Atif
